Matthew (Matt) J. Altick joined The Clark Firm, PLLC as an associate attorney in 2019 after previously working for a law firm in Allen, Texas. As an attorney, Matt handles a wide variety of areas including Business Law, Labor and Employment, Corporate and Contracts.
Matt attended the University of Dayton School of Law, where he served as the Executive Treasurer to the Student Bar Association. Matt also was the President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and the President of the Second Amendment Law Society. Matt graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2014, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in International Business, with two minors in marketing and sports management. Throughout his time in law school, Matt worked for a variety of different firms and organizations in both Dayton, Ohio and his hometown of Dallas, Texas. He had a wide range of practice areas including wills and estates, contracts, social media law, business law, and family law. He also volunteered at the VA where he helped veterans with different areas of law such as contracts, family, and landlord-tenant law.
A native of Preston Hollow, Texas, Matt is excited to back in the area where he grew up. Outside of work, Matt enjoys watching and attending sporting events (Go Pokes!, Rangers, Cowboys, Stars and Mavs), golfing, fishing, cooking, traveling (47 of the 50 states), and spending time with family and friends.
